Mustang Gentling Clinic

Mustang Gentling Clinic

Come join us for two days of Mustang Gentling featuring our rescued Devils Garden Mustangs.

April 27, 2019
Start Time:
9:00 am
End Time:
4:00 pm

Come join us for two days of Mustang Gentling featuring our rescued Devils Garden Mustangs.

These four very special Mustangs were rescued by Andi and Ed of Indigo Equine and have come to The Wild Hope for their gentling and training.  They are part of the 300 older Devils Garden Horses that are being sold by our Forest Service for only $1 a head. That's a death sentence for these beautiful horses, as kill buyers purchase them by the truck load and send them to slaughter houses in Mexico and Canada.

During this clinic I will be talking about equine and human body language. Topics include; What is the horse saying to me and what am I saying to the horse? How do horses learn? How can I properly apply Pressure and Release and Approach and Retreat to create confidence, good communication, learning and play with the horse?

Please come with an open mind and heart as these Mustangs can touch your heart and teach you more about yourself than you ever thought possible, if you only open yourself up to listen.

I truly hope you can come and help us give these horses the tools they need to succeed in their new world.
